Overview

RelaxQuickly ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website relaxquickly.com. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our service.

We are committed to keeping things simple: RelaxQuickly is a free tool with no user accounts, no registration, and no personally identifiable information collected from you.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personally identifiable information. All interactive tools on the site — breathing timers (box, 4-7-8, diaphragmatic, alternate nostril), the feeling wheel, the EFT tapping guide, grounding and muscle relaxation exercises, the butterfly hug metronome, the sleep debt calculator, the binaural beats player, and the self-screening tests (daytime sleepiness, PHQ-9 depression, stress self-assessment) — run entirely in your browser. No data from these tools is sent to our servers, and nothing is stored on your device between sessions (no cookies set by us, no localStorage, no sessionStorage). Reloading the page clears all of your inputs.

This applies to anything you type or select in our tools, including:

  • Free-text fields (such as the "What's bothering you?" field in the EFT tapping guide)
  • Questionnaire answers (such as your responses to the daytime sleepiness test, the PHQ-9 depression test — including the question about thoughts of self-harm — and the stress self-assessment)
  • Self-rating values (such as SUDS intensity ratings before and after a tapping or butterfly hug session)
  • Calculator inputs (such as the seven nightly sleep durations entered into the sleep debt calculator)
  • Configuration choices (such as breathing pattern, session length, binaural-beats preset, or selected emotion)

None of this information is transmitted, logged, or retained by us. Your test scores and questionnaire answers — including the results of the PHQ-9 depression test and the stress self-assessment — are computed locally in your browser and are gone the moment you reload or close the page.

We may collect anonymous usage data through analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), which may include:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Browser type and operating system
  • Approximate geographic location (country or city, based on IP address)
  • Referral source (how you found the site)
  • Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)

This data is aggregated and anonymous — it cannot be used to identify you personally.

Downloads

Some pages offer downloadable PDF resources — currently the feeling wheel poster, the butterfly hug cheat sheet, and the military sleep method cheat sheet. These are static files served by our hosting provider. We do not log who downloads them or attach any tracking to the files themselves.

Cookies

RelaxQuickly itself does not set any cookies. However, third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) may set cookies on your device to help us understand how visitors use the site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous information about how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Third-Party Services

We use Google Fonts to display text. When you load a page on RelaxQuickly, your browser may make a request to Google's servers to download fonts. Google may collect certain information about this request (such as your IP address) in accordance with their privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

RelaxQuickly does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. The site contains no user accounts or data submission forms.

Links to Other Websites

Our site may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

In particular, the PHQ-9 depression test page lists crisis-support resources — the US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (988), the Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741741), and the international helpline directory at findahelpline.com. If you contact any of these services, they are operated by third parties and have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
